Especially out of the thousands of other available, similar-quality banks? And In a presentational kinda way, not like how to force/guilt-trip people/beg/harass people into using your UTAU. I mean just, how do you make people want to use it. Outside of the factors such as vocal quality or self-promotion, of course. Those are obviously the meat of it, but I'm the kinda fella who likes salad on the side. So, let's discuss!
Are there any factors, biases, or even tricks that draw people to an UTAU? Focusing on people that actually go out of their way to download the bank to possibly use, of course. Although there's something to be said about just popularity amongst average listeners, popularity doesn't start until somebody creates something to be popularized in the first place.
So, I think that if the creator shows an active and big care for their banks, it's something people can relate to, and want to share that fuzzy feeling with others. you know, the feeling when somebody uses yourUTAU, which doesn't come often for most of us, sadly. It's hard to not be excited when you hear your own voice doing a really nice thing, it's almost like being a proud parent in a way. UTAU, at least to me, are like our OCs, except a lot more personal. they usually have your own voice, an aspect of your appearance/personality, some sort of funny story behind their creation and/or recording (iPod Touch 4G memo app, anyone? I also didn't know what a reclist was ahaha) and loving care put into their creation. So it's hard not to empathize when you see a creator who really maintains and cares about their UTAUs.
So, in terms of presentation and psychology-ish stuff, what do you think makes people download/use an UTAU? Or are there any personal biases you might have, or noticed in other users?
