I'm JVウタウ. I am a Philippine high school student and amateur music producer who started out in the vocal synthesis community.
My plethora of hobbies are rather vast and often unrelated. One of the more enduring ones, however, is playing with music. Vocal synthesis has given me the possibility of creating full songs with lyrics, even without human singers at my fingertips. This possibility excited me the most - perhaps more than the perky characters! I released my first public original, 'Metropolitan Irony,' as part of the Miku Expo contest back in late 2015. Eventually, I released a song about Vocaloid not being an anime (To the Casual Fan), a failed attempt at EDM turned into a sappy synthpop song (ROCKET), an album created in a week in collaboration with Melobunii (Workaholics), and most recently a song part of the Fractured Planes project (intersect).
That "most recently" is back to May 2016, however. I took a hiatus because of the escalation of activity I have in school, being an honor student with many commitments. However, now that I have completed junior high school, and have a bunch of stories kept over the months that I want to tell, it's time to get my knuckles cracking!
I hope to share my stuff here and discuss the minutiae of vocal synth manipulation soon. So, uhm, hajimemashite!
